Chuckle Challenge Champion 2026
For a bit of fun, I entered the Chuckle Challenge 2026. I had to write a story for kids (max 200 words) based on two random prompts. Mine were:
A talking toilet, and
A mystery flavor
The result? I’m a Chuckle Challenge Champion! 🤣😎

The Terrible Tale of Tammy McPlop
[Note: Tammy is a toilet]
Tammy McPlop was the terror of town.
Wherever she went, she would gobble things down.
From bushes to buses… She once ate a train!
(But sicked that back up and said, “Never again!”)
She guzzled Flo’s dustbin,
devoured Dave’s car.
And then she ate Dave, which was going too far.
“Enough!” cried a boy. “This all has to STOP!”
“No! I must find it!” groaned Tammy McPlop.
“Find what?” said the boy. “What is it you seek?”
The toilet flushed pink and her voice went all meek.
“Well…” Tammy managed. “You’ll think me quite dotty…
It’s something I tasted when I was a potty!
So creamy and cold, so sweet and so yummy.
I long for that flavour once more in my tummy.”
“Creamy and cold? Follow me!” cried the boy.
The toilet went eagerly, beaming with joy.
Music rang out, and as if in a dream,
a man in a van handed Tammy… ICE CREAM!
“This is IT!” Tammy cried as she gobbled it down.
“Good,” said the boy, “Now stop eating our town!”
Tammy smiled sweetly. “I’ll do what I can.”
Then she swallowed him whole
with the man
and the van.
